1. Tickets

Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

1 for $10.00; 2000 tickets
3 for $25.00; 4800 tickets
10 for $50.00; 8000 tickets

The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

Maximum 50/50 payout will be $50,000.00.
3. Important Dates & Draw Information

Draw will be held at Loaves and 210 Fry Street, Nanaimo BC V9R 4Z1

The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG).

All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

Winners will be posted online at https://loavesandfishesraffle.rafflenexus.com/winners on January 13, 2021.
4. Winner

Winner will be contacted by phone by the Loaves & Fishes Food Bank.

Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Loaves & Fishes Food Bank or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

Loaves & Fishes Food Bank does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

Cause

Did you know that over half the food produced in Canada is lost or wasted? Did you know that parts of Vancouver Island have the second highest child poverty rate in BC? Loaves and Fishes is determined that nobody has to go hungry, especially while good food is being thrown away! Our trucks are on the road 7 days a week collecting food from our local, regional and national food partners. Right now, Loaves and Fishes Food Bank is providing over 390,000 pounds of good food per month across Vancouver Island and area. Food is provided free of charge to 86 other non-profits, schools, food banks and Indigenous Communities across Vancouver Island reaching 39 communities. Over 2,600 individuals per month depend on Loaves and Fishes Depots in Nanaimo and Port Hardy. Food is available barrier free to anyone in need 6 days a week. During this difficult time, it's especially important that all people have access to an abundance of healthy food. Our goal with this raffle is to raise enough money to provide nearly $300,000 worth of food for struggling people across Vancouver Island. You can help!
